Meet jesse
Jesse Mose is a professional musician and seasoned entrepreneur currently based in Quincy, Illinois. He is a recent graduate of Quincy University (Quincy, IL), where he earned a degree in Organ Performance and received the prestigious Music Virtuoso Scholarship. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Texas, El Paso.
Throughout his professional music career, Jesse has had the unique privilege of serving in a number of various music leadership positions, ranging from principal church musician and church music director roles to recently serving as an adjunct vocal instructor at the local community college. He recently accepted the call to return to his alma mater where he is the Director of Music for Quincy University’s chapel liturgies.
In his free time, Jesse enjoys running, working out, and home improvement projects. He and his wife, Kyia, reside in Quincy, IL, with their four crazy but lovable cats. They are expecting their first child in September of 2026.
Meet Kyia
Kyia is a professional vocalist and instructor of voice based in Quincy, Illinois. She is currently pursuing a degree in vocal performance at Quincy University, where she is an active member of the university’s choral department. Though early in her vocal career, Kyia has been fortunate to sing for a wide variety of church services and weddings, and has held roles in various productions, including the operas Carmen and The Magic Flute. She currently serves as principal cantor for Quincy University’s chapel liturgies and has occasionally led masterclasses for cantors and choirs.
She resides in Quincy, Illinois, with her husband and their four wonderful cats. They are expecting their first child in September of 2026.
