About Jasmine
Jasmine Wright is a professional violinist known for delivering captivating performances that blend technical excellence with heartfelt artistry. From concert stages to elegant weddings and private events, she has built a reputation for creating unforgettable musical experiences throughout Illinois, Missouri, and the surrounding Midwest.
Jasmine began studying the violin at the age of five through the renowned Suzuki Method. At just 12 years old, she earned a position with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, where she performed through her senior year of high school. During her pre-college years, she was selected to participate in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed violinist Leila Josefowicz and the legendary Itzhak Perlman. She also had the opportunity to perform on stage with acclaimed jazz trombonist, composer, and producer Delfeayo Marsalis at a young age, experiences that helped shape her artistry and passion for performance.
She continued her musical education at the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music before transferring to Maryville University to pursue Music Therapy, further expanding her understanding of music's ability to connect with and inspire others.
Throughout her career, Jasmine has performed in a wide range of musical settings. Most recently, she shared the stage with Grammy Award-winning artist Ne-Yo at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, adding to a growing list of professional performance experiences that showcase her versatility across genres.
Over the past five years, Jasmine has performed at more than 100 weddings and private events, becoming a trusted musician for couples and event planners alike. She performs regularly throughout Illinois and Missouri and is available for events across the surrounding states. Whether clients envision classical elegance, contemporary hits, worship music, or cinematic favorites, Jasmine works closely with them to curate the perfect soundtrack and can perform virtually any requested song.
