About Samantha
Samantha Rehorst is a professional violinist and violist based in Chicago, bringing a combination of refined musicianship, extensive performance experience, and thoughtful professionalism to every event.
A graduate of Bard College and Conservatory, Samantha holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Her musical experience has taken her to stages both throughout the United States and internationally, including performances at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
In addition to performing, Samantha is passionate about the behind-the-scenes work that allows professional music organizations to thrive. As a music librarian, she has worked with professional orchestras including the Grant Park Orchestra and American Symphony Orchestra, developing a deep understanding of the preparation, organization, and attention to detail required at the highest levels of musical performance.
Samantha particularly enjoys performing for weddings and understands that exceptional musicianship is only one part of creating a wonderful experience. Her goal is to bring the utmost professionalism, preparation, and care to every event so couples can relax and fully enjoy their special day.
