About Madeline
Madeline Chen is a Chicago-based harpist who brings elegance and artistry to weddings, private events, and special celebrations. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she earned a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance with Highest Honors and has performed as Principal Harp with the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra, and Symphony Band, as well as Acting Principal Harp of the Flint Symphony Orchestra. Her performance highlights include a South African concert tour under GRAMMY-nominated conductor Kenneth Kiesler and her Carnegie Hall debut.
While Madeline specializes in the expressive French Romantic harp repertoire, she also enjoys performing a wide variety of contemporary pop and R&B music. Whether you're envisioning a timeless classical ceremony or your favorite modern love song, she seeks to create a personalized musical experience that reflects each couple’s unique style.
