Abigail Rae is a classical guitarist, composer, and music novelist from Iowa who brings a unique artistic perspective to wedding celebrations and special events. Through years of dedicated musical study, international experiences, and professional performance, Abigail creates elegant and memorable musical moments through the beautiful sound of classical guitar.
Abigail Rae is a composer, guitarist, and music novelist from Iowa. In the spring of 2022, she was a resident of Vienna, Austria. For the majority of 2023 and spring of 2024, she resided in Leipzig, Germany, where she furthered her music, from being a guest listener at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater ‘Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’ to playing in an orchestra at the Gewandhaus (Mendelssohn Saal).
Abigail currently continues to compose for guitar as well as orchestral works. She gigs professionally at retirement homes, dinner events and much more.
Her background as both a performer and composer allows her to bring a thoughtful and artistic approach to every wedding. Whether providing romantic music for a ceremony, elegant selections for a cocktail hour, or sophisticated background music for a private celebration, Abigail creates an atmosphere that enhances each meaningful moment.
Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Abigail performs throughout Eastern Iowa and the surrounding region for weddings, private events, and special occasions.
